I have been rotating the 3 G.U.T.S. routines for 2 weeks now and have noticed improvement in all areas except mu Push-ups (all variety's) and wanted to know if anyone has any hints to increase #'s ? My Push-ups have always lagged behind in anything I did so any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated . I am really enjoying this workout and the utter vicious simplicity of it all .
Thanks again John
Take care everyone and remember "Sometimes its better to jump in and shake it like a Catch Dog than to fret about it "

I found doing aerobic isometric push ups has helped me increase my numbers. I have been doing that with the Atlas III and found that doing the aerobic iso Atlas III helped my numbers in the regular Atlas III.

I hope that helped

Jason,
You may want to try partial reps from the lockout positon. These helped me increas my numbers. I also vary the styles between Atlas 1, standard pushups, and Atlas 3. I however have not gotten the G.U.T.S routine yet. You can also try gripping the floor ( or whatever surface your hands are on) to up the intensity.

Good Luck.

Meaning what; you hold the top for a minute, midpoint for a minute and bottom for a minute?

How long a hold do you do?
