I got the book today and what a beautiful book it is! Great layout and aesthetically pleasing! Thank you.
Unfortunately I'm recovering from a cold so I don't dare start the program until I'm feeling well again.
I will however start devouring the book today so I'll be ready to start the program as soon as I'm fully recovered.
I decided to take measurements to be able to see my progress along the way. The measurements were taken with the muscles relaxed. I will also ask my wife to take a few "before" pictures for later comparisons.
Measurements 11-02-2009
Age: 33
Length: 5 ft, 8.9 in (175 cm)
Weight: 152 lbs (69 kg)
Neck: 14.6 in (37 cm)
Shoulders: 45.3 in (115 cm)
Chest: 36.6 in (93 cm)
Upper arms: 12.6 in (32 cm)
Forearms: 11.4 in (29 cm)
Waist: 29 in (74 cm)
Hips: 35.8 in (91 cm)
Thighs: 21.3 in (54 cm)
Calves: 14.6 in (37 cm)
As you can probably figure out my plan is to build muscle mass and GAIN weight as opposed to a few other members here. I thought it could be interesting to follow a training journal from that perspective.
Be well,
Henrik

Hi John,
That makes two of us. :)
Thank you once again for a wonderful book.
Hopefully I can at least try the excersises tomorrow.
I have no doubts that this program can, and will, produce amazing results in a very short time.
It feels good to finally be a member of the Transformetrics family. :)

Alright, I couldn't hold out any longer so I just did my first G.U.T.S. workout today. Oh, man it was hard! :D
I'm still recovering from a cold and I know I should have waited a couple of more days before G.U.T.S. but... Here are my numbers for wednesday 11/4/2009:
Atlas III Push-Up: 30
Atlas Sit-Up: 28
Tiger Bend Squats: 150
Atlas Sit-Up: 23
Atlas III Push-Up: 27
The Milo: 10R, 10L + 3R, 3L
That was all that I could squeeze out of on my fist try!
I have a long way to go but what a wonderful path to take.
I LOVED the program and I will be posting my results from each workout.
I also attached my "before" pictures (as promised).
Be well,
Henrik

I'm starting to feel better from my cold (in case you were curious).
Here are today's (11/05/2009) G.U.T.S. numbers:
Atlas III Push-Up: 31
Atlas Sit-Up: 38
Tiger Bend Squats: 190
Atlas Sit-Up: 36
Atlas III Push-Up: 28
The Milo: 10R, 10L + 10R, 10L
I'm not sure I'm doing the Milo correctly. That exercise is HARD to do at the end of the circuit!
I might be using too much force but I don't know.... I don't have the power to do 20/20+15/15 yet but I'm working up to it.
However, improvements in all parts of the circuit today so I'm very happy! :)
Be well,
Henrik

I was too sore to workout yesterday...
Here are today's (11/07/2009) G.U.T.S. numbers:
Atlas III Push-Up: 34
Atlas Sit-Up: 50
Tiger Bend Squats: 244
Atlas Sit-Up: 59
Atlas III Push-Up: 32
The Milo (L/R): 20/20 + 15/15
YES!! I finally managed to do the correct numbers of The Milo today!
And overall a significant improvement in all of the exercises. Wonderful! :)
In case anyone is wondering about the time:
I do every exercise for the adviced number of minutes and only "rest" when I switch exercise.
Be well,
Henrik

My thighs are killing me!
I'll have to skip the workout today.

Still very sore in my body. Today I just did about 30 tiger stretch push-ups, 30 tiger bend squats and 1 minute nose to the mat bridge. :)

Okay, I'm back in business. :)
Here are today's (11/11/2009) G.U.T.S. numbers:
Atlas III Push-Ups: 33
Atlas I Sit-Ups: 54
Tiger Bend Squats: 268
Atlas I Sit-Ups: 63
Atlas III Push-Ups: 30
The Milo (L/R): 20/20 + 15/15
The push-ups were hard today. Apart from those everything else was great.
It's weird that I in the last two circuits managed to do more reps in the second set of sit-ups.
Maybe it's because I'm warmed up and in "the flow"?
What is the best way to increase the reps for the push-ups? Please enlighten me.
It seems I soon will reach the goals for the TBS and sit-ups reps! :)

Did the B positions of the IPR workout. Wow, that is also an amazing program! I can feel it in the muscles immediately after doing the exercises. :)
I will do G.U.T.S. again tomorrow.

I missed two days of training due to extremely long days at work but now I'm back to training again. :)
Today (11/16/2009) I did the IPR C positions - together with my sons, 3 and 5 years old!
They love to train with me and I feel that this type of training is quite safe for them to join me in.
I'll also try and squeeze G.U.T.S. in later during the day.
Be well,
Henrik
