View Full Version : What is the difference between VRT and Isometric training?

Still kind of new here. I see the VRT package for sale. I just wanted to know what the VRT system involves. I see references to weight exercises, but VRT is advertised as a weight free method.

Please help.

In a nutshell, you imagine lifting heavy weights and use antagonistic muscles to provide resistance.

For example, you do an imaginary bench press where the biceps act as "brakes" to the triceps. Pushing Yourself to Power and Miracle 7 feature the same sort of thing, but they call it DVR. The Tiger Moves are one form of this.

There's no movement with conventional isometrics. Combining isometrics with VRTs is a worthwhile approach; ie, purposely halt the VRT movement with "isometric stops"
